Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades can boost the value of armor and weapons. However upgrading your magic and standard equipment isn't worth the investment as rare or unusual equipment can quickly surpass it.
Upgrades can be added to an item up to six times. Each upgrade will add to the item gauge.
